Text 20 May Pictures from the First Two Weeks of Georgia
Text 4 May G:TC:TM (Georgia, the country, the movie)

Georgia. The country, not the state. It’s a tiny little country northeast of Turkey and it was the site of a brief war with Russia during the 2008 Olympics. No one paid it much attention at the time, having most of their attention diverted by the Olympics or by fervently not caring about the Olympics. And of course I didn’t pay it much attention either; when would I ever end up in Georgia: The Country (G:TC from here on)?

Fast forward to now, sitting in the airport terminal in Sarasota, headed off to New York and eventually Istanbul, and even more eventually Tbilisi, G:TC. For six months. That’s a long time. I intend to chronicle some of the events here on tumblr, and maybe some pictures and stuff too. Then again, I have intended, over the years, to write upwards of (at last approximation) eight hundred million blogs, so we’ll just wait and see how long this lasts.

Nine hours in Istanbul, immediately after a nine-and-a-half hour flight to Istanbul might make for an interesting story, but I suppose only time will tell. I miss home already, but the Sarasota airport terminal might not count as quite exciting enough to steal my heart away yet.

Next stop: G:TC.

Zigzagoon

Zigzagoon’s pretty cool I guess.

Homestuck’s pretty cool too, but I doubt I’ll post too much about it.

I like stuff like this:
